WHAT YOU’RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO

As an eCommerce Manager, you’ll have the important task of taking care of the website & that all is running smoothly in the back end. Collaborating with sales, marketing, design, and operations, you’ll have their expertise at your fingertips to execute new and innovative ideas that will drive continuous sales. You’ll also be responsible for tracking data to see the performance of your strategy and make data-driven decisions to improve it.

This is a full-time and remote position based in the UK.

HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Developing and executing the overall e-commerce strategy in alignment with the company's goals. Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and improvement in the online sales channel
  • Taking ownership of improving the site’s CRO through analysis of the customer journey, A/B testing new functionalities created by the developers & UX/UI designers, and a thorough understanding of the customer’s persona
  • Ensuring the website is consistent by doing QA to make sure content & merchandise are optimal and the UX is smooth
  • Keeping the site up to date with frequent content & product description updates, and maintaining a web calendar strategy for new launches and promotions
  • Monitoring & analyzing data to aid you in planning new initiatives to improve engagement, maximize conversion and increase site traffic
  • Developing strategic eCommerce merchandising plans for new product launches with the marketing & logistics teams, which include planning ahead for high-volume periods
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, design, and operations, to ensure alignment and support the overall company objectives
  • Devising plans to improve product launches and sales to increase the volumes of products sold and reduce excessive inventory
  • Researching and staying up to date with new e-Commerce trends and best practices, and analyzing competitors to identify new opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable e-commerce regulations, data protection laws, and security protocols. Implement measures to protect customer data, secure online transactions, and maintain website integrity

WHO YOU ARE

  • You’ve been working with D2C e-Commerce Growth & conversion optimization 
  • You have experience with stores that are on Shopify
  • You have experience dealing with attribution issues and using tools such as Triple Whale 
  • You’ve worked with email marketing, SMS, and/or loyalty programs
  • You have a passion for customer psychology and their journey through the store
  • You have worked with site merchandising, site search, segmentation, customer experience & A/B testing
  • You are data-driven and have an analytical mindset
  • You have a strong understanding of the relationship between AOV, page views, conversion, and other relevant web-based KPIs
  • You are self-started with an entrepreneurial mindset 
  • You’re organized and are able to prioritize projects to meet deadlines and multiple requests
  • You are a fluent English speaker with good verbal and written communication skills
